Terms & Conditions

The Polish version of these Terms is the primary version. This English version is provided for convenience.

Seller details and scope of the Terms

Effective date: 21.09.2026

The Margot online service is operated by: MPQL limited liability company ul. Kompozytorów 3/93 31-356 Kraków, Poland KRS: 0001266084 NIP: 6772547115 REGON: 545699311 Share capital: PLN 5,000.00 E-mail: kontakt@margotcafe.pl hereinafter referred to as “Margot”, the “Seller” or the “Service Provider”.

These Terms set out the rules for using the Margot online service, maintaining a user Account and placing orders for products offered by Margot.

Through the Service, Margot enables users in particular to browse the menu, create and maintain a user Account, place pickup orders, view order history and receive information about order fulfilment.

Using the Service and the Account

Creating an Account is free of charge.

To use the Service, the user needs a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser and, for Account and order features, an active e-mail address.

The user may not provide unlawful content through the Service or take actions that could disrupt its proper operation.

Using online services may involve typical internet-related risks, in particular attempts to gain unauthorised access to an Account. The user should protect their login details and not share them with third parties.

Creating an Account requires providing the data indicated in the registration form and accepting these Terms. The user must provide true and up-to-date data.

The Account is maintained for an indefinite period. The user may resign from the Account at any time through the function available in the Service, if provided, or by contacting Margot at kontakt@margotcafe.pl.

Deleting an Account does not remove data that Margot is required or entitled to retain under the law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of claims.

Products, orders and payment

Products available for order, their prices, composition and available pickup hours are presented in the Service.

The user selects products, chooses the required order options and pickup time, and then checks the order summary before placing the order.

Immediately before placing an order, the user receives information about the ordered products, their total price and the payment method.

An order involving a payment obligation is placed using a button that clearly informs the user about the obligation to pay.

After receiving an order, Margot sends electronic confirmation of order acceptance to the e-mail address assigned to the Account. The sales agreement is concluded when Margot confirms acceptance of the order.

Margot may refuse to accept an order if the selected product is unavailable, the selected fulfilment time cannot be met, or a technical issue prevents correct fulfilment. In such a case, the user will be informed without undue delay.

All prices in the Service are expressed in Polish złoty (PLN) and are gross prices including applicable taxes.

At the current stage, payment for the order is made at pickup in the Margot café using the payment methods available on site.

Margot may provide online payments in the future. Information about available payment methods is presented to the user before the order is placed.

Pickup, allergens and cancellations

The order should be collected at the location and time indicated when placing the order and in its confirmation.

Preparation times are indicative. In the event of a significant delay, Margot may inform the user using the contact details assigned to the order.

Due to the nature of food products, Margot does not guarantee that an uncollected order can be stored for an extended period.

Information about product composition and allergens is made available to customers in accordance with applicable law.

People with food allergies or intolerances should review ingredient and allergen information before placing an order.

The user may request cancellation of an order before preparation begins by contacting Margot as soon as possible.

Once product preparation has started, cancellation may be limited due to the nature of the products, especially products prepared to order or products that spoil quickly.

Detailed cancellation, complaint and refund rules are available on the “Cancellations, Complaints & Refunds” page.

Withdrawal rights and complaints

For distance contracts, consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract, subject to exceptions provided by law.

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among other things, to contracts for goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and in other cases provided for in Article 38 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.

This exclusion does not limit the consumer’s right to submit a complaint about a product that is not in conformity with the contract.

Complaints concerning products, orders or the operation of electronic services may be submitted to kontakt@margotcafe.pl or directly at the Margot café.

To help us process the complaint, the customer may provide the order number, a description of the issue and contact details.

Margot reviews complaints in accordance with applicable law. A response to a consumer complaint will be provided within the period required by law, generally no later than 14 days from receipt.

Personal data, disputes and changes to the Terms

The rules for processing personal data and using cookies and similar technologies are described in the Privacy Policy available in the Service.

A consumer may use out-of-court complaint handling and claim enforcement methods, including assistance from the competent consumer ombudsman or entities authorised to conduct out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.

Information about such dispute resolution methods is available, among other places, at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl. The EU ODR platform was closed on 20 July 2025, so Margot does not link to the old platform.

These Terms and agreements concluded through the Service are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection provisions.

Changes to the Terms do not affect the conditions of orders placed before the change enters into force.

Users with an Account will be informed in advance about material changes to the Terms concerning Account maintenance.

The Polish version of the Terms is the primary version. Other language versions may be made available for user convenience.
